Theme Park at its Darkest

Far be it from me to interpret what the 13-year-old girl said – I wasn’t even there. Further, as far as it being a ‘racist’ comment, the authority on that is probably Mr Goodes.

However, there is something about the power of satire to expose the forces at work beneath the surface of complex issues. Should it be illegal to make racist comments? Isn’t part of freedom of speech the freedom to offend?

Lenny Bruce had a number of interesting ideas about this, also.
