How about these rugby players?

There’s a difference between being a fighter and being an athlete. I’ve been in situations in a fight were I can feel my brain is swelling inside my head. You ask yourself a question in situations like that. Continue reading

What does it mean?

And how will it make us feel?

“Shucks, if I throw Stipe Miocic into any harbour, he probably drowns,” Aussie headliner Mark Hunt laughs. “And how do we fight each other if he’s dead?

“Other fighters might like to talk trash but I’m fairly civil. Especially at this level.

“Plus Stipe seems a nice guy. So no, I won’t be throwing him into any water. But when the bell goes, man, I’m still going to put a hole in his face.”

He tells Theme Park at its Darkest all about it.

So… how did it go? Continue reading

For Gary Palmer, martial arts have been part of his life for as long as he can remember.

“I started with boxing,” says Gary, “I grew up with it. I come from a boxing family. My grandfather was Dave Palmer, who was both heavy and light-heavyweight champion of Australia. He held several titles – that was back in the days when they weren’t so strict about weight; they let you fight up a division. Continue reading
